Minecraft coming to the PlayStation Vita
By wolfblake posted 3 years ago

PlayStation posted on Twitter that the PlayStation Vita version of Minecraft will come to the PS Store in North America on Tuesay, October 14. They also said that the retail version will be coming out on November 11.

Minecraft for the Vita will cost $20 whether you buy it on the PS Store or at any retailer.

Since this is on a Sony system, there are several cross-buy options for buyers if they have the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 versions as well.

  • If you digitall purchase the Vita version, you will be able to download the PS3 version for free on the same account and buy the PS4 version for $5.

  • If you buy the retail Vita version, your game will include a pack-in voucher code for digital access to the Vita and PS3 versions, and you can upgrade to the PS4 Edition for $5.

  • If you own the physical or digital copy of Minecraft for PS3, you will be able to automatically download the Vita version for free. Unfortunetly, if you bought the PS4 edition this does not apply. "Only the PS3 and PS Vita Editions are eligible for the cross-buy offer."
