Minecraft's Developer, Mojang, revealed via Twitter that total sales across all platforms are estimated to be about to 9.2 million!

Creator Markus Persson said via Twitter that sales of the PC version alone are at 6 million. Minecraft has sold 700,000 copies on iOS and Android devicesas of January. The Xbox 360 Edition sold 400,000 copies on its first day. It took five days to sell 1 million copies, on its way to becoming the fastest-selling Xbox Live title in history. During the week of May 14, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition had more unique users than Call of Duty: Black Ops on Xbox Live.
