It looks like users of XBOX Live are going to have to pay more for an XBOX Live Gold subscription come November 2010. According to Joystiq and XBOX.com, the price for a year of Live Gold is going to increase from $49.99 to $59.99 on November 1. For smaller subscription increments, there will be price increases as well: one-month Gold increases from $7.99 to $9.99, and three-month Gold increases from $19.99 to $24.99. These figures apply to the USA only.

There is a glimmer of good news in this increase, however: current subscribers to any XBOX Live service can renew or upgrade their subscriptions until the first of November for $39.99, which is ten dollars off of the current subscription price for a year. This will give the subscriber a year-long subscription to XBOX Live Gold.
